The CL-27SD or CL-40SD Standard Model is part of Drylam's Element series. The Element

Series offers a range of wide format heated roll laminators available in 27 inch or 40 inch laminating widths. Choose from the Standard, Deluxe or Professional Series.

All Element Series Are Made in the USA and Feature

Heated Rollers for Lamination - All Element Series Laminators are built with heated Silicon rubber coated steel rollers that simultaneously compress and heat the adhesive of laminating film onto the document as it passes through the laminator. The result is a superior bond and finish. In contrast, the commom heat shoe method found in other laminators separately heats the adhesive of the film before the document and heated film enters the cold compression rollers.

Digital LED Control Panel - Displays the set temperature and run speed, control temperature and run speed, measure current temperature, select run, stop and reverse.

Safety Shield - Protects against accidental contact with heated rollers.

Auto Shut-Off - After two hours of non-use the power to the heated rollers will turn off.

180 Day Warranty - All Element Series are covered by this manufacturer warranty.

Deluxe Series

The CL-27DX (27 inch) and the CL-40DX (40 inch) are the Deluxe Models in the Element Series. The Deluxe Grade Model has expanded features for the school or office applications that require increased speed and thicker laminates. The Deluxe Grade Models have variable speed up to 9 feet per minute and will handle 1.5 mil, 3 mil and 5 mil thick film on a 1 inch core. The Deluxe models include a built-in horizontal trimmer.

Professional Series

The CL-27PR (27 inch) and the CL-40PR (40 inch) are the Professional Models in the Element Series. The Professional Grade Models has expanded features for the print shop or studio applications that require increased speed and thicker laminates. The Professional Grade Models have variable speed up to 9 feet per minute and will handle 1.5 mil to 10 mil thick film on a 1 inch or 3" cores. The Professional models include cooling fans and a built-in horizontal trimmer.
